A shocking video from security cameras recorded a violent armed attack outside the bar “La Última Copa”, located in Taras de Cartago, which left one person dead and another injured.

The shooting occurred during a Halloween celebration in the early hours of Wednesday, in an event that has shocked the community

The video, which is circulating on social media, shows a car approaching the bar at around 12:28 a.m. Moments later, two individuals get out of the car with machine guns and begin shooting indiscriminately at the group of people gathered at the site.

The images capture the chaos that broke out as attendees tried to flee or take cover.

One person died in the incident, and another was injured and taken by private vehicle to the Cartago hospital. So far, the authorities have not revealed the identities of the victims.

After carrying out the attack, the attackers fled in the same vehicle towards the Kircot sector and, so far, have not been arrested. Due to the large number of people present in the bar for the Halloween activity, several witnesses witnessed the crime and the security cameras provide a detailed record of the event, which will be key in the investigation by the authorities.

Cartago police have launched a search and evidence gathering operation in an attempt to clarify the motives behind the attack and find those responsible for this violent murder that has the community on alert.
