A woman caught on camera being left by police in a bus lane while incapacitated, wants the two officers to be fired.

Bridget Mongan, 23, admits that she was drunk at the time, but said they should have left her on the pavement.

She said that she "could've been killed".

The incident happened on John Street in Derry on Monday and is being investigated by the Police Ombudsman.

It follows shocking pictures which showed how two PSNI officers moved the drunk woman off the road and dumped her in a bus lane.

Ms Mongan said she was reduced to tears when she saw the footage.
