At exactly midday on July 1, 2021, in the Payaryk district of the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan, an accident occurred with the participation of a regular passenger bus and Damas. As a result of the road accident, two Damas passengers died on the spot, and the bus capsized.

The accident occurred on the 26th kilometer of the 4R-48 highway, passing through the Eshmonsok mahalla, when the Damas car drove into the oncoming lane, flipped, and collided with a bus following the Jizzakh-Gagarina-Samarkand-Payaryk route.

The Investigation Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Samarkand region opened a criminal case under part 3 of Article 266 (Violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation resulting in the death of a person) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
