In Costa Rica, a man died after several individuals shot him on a public road. The event occurred in Llanos de Santa Lucia, in Cartago, according to authorities.

The Costa Rican Red Cross received the emergency call around 9:01 in the morning. At the scene, first responders reported that the man died at the scene.

The shooting occurred in front of the Ujarrás Rescue School. It is known which officials arrived at the scene. Agents of the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) carry out the investigation work.
