In Costa Rica, a man died after several individuals shot him on a public road. The event occurred in Llanos de Santa Lucia, in Cartago, according to authorities.

The Costa Rican Red Cross received the emergency call around 9:01 in the morning. At the scene, first responders reported that the man died at the scene.
