A foreign national identified as Edward was shot and killed while waiting for his vehicle to be washed in front of a car wash in the Chorrillos district.

The attack occurred at the intersection of San Juan Avenue and 7th Street, where the victim was sitting on the sidewalk checking his cell phone.

According to the Peruvian National Police, the crime occurred around 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday and was recorded by the area's video surveillance cameras.

At the crime scene, forensic experts found 24 bullet casings scattered on the sidewalk, which demonstrates the intensity of the attack.
