An explosion and fire has broken out at the "CCI Lukoil Usinskneftegaz" oil refinery 30 kilometers from Usinsk in the Russian republic of Komi. The refinery is operated by "LUKOIL-Komi"

The fire destroyed four tanks, each containing approximately 5000 cubic meters of oil. The cause of the fire is believed to have started while pumping oil from processing.

The fire was eventually brought under control over a two day period, but not before four fire trucks were destroyed.
