A street sweeper was shot dead on Wednesday night (11), while working sweeping the area of the Lajedo open-air market, next to CEALA, in the Agreste region of Pernambuco.

SAMU was called, but when they arrived at the scene the victim was already dead.

According to initial information, the victim was a resident of the city of Jucati and is known as “Zé de Jucati”.

So far, there is no information about the authorship or the motivation of the crime. The Civil Police were called to take the appropriate measures."
