A motorcyclist was killed after being run over by a truck in a crash captured on CCTV in India on February 9, according to local reports.

The collision happened in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, according to regional reports circulating online alongside the surveillance footage.

Video from the scene shows the rider traveling along a divided roadway before losing control and falling onto the pavement. Moments later, a large truck traveling in the same direction runs over the motorcyclist, who appears unable to move out of the vehicle’s path.

Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity. Police are expected to review the video as part of the investigation into the crash.

It remains unclear what caused the motorcyclist to fall before being struck by the truck.
