Memphis Police on Friday released surveillance video of a shooting and carjacking that happened just over a week ago on Steve Road in southeast Memphis.Police said that it's one of eight crimes where four teenagers and an adult have arrested.Law enforcement told FOX13 that it is facing an uphill battle with juvenile crime.Four teenagers and an adult have been arrested in the carjacking and shooting.Police said they are responsible for eight crimes over the last two weeks that span across Memphis, including what happened in the footage on Steve Road that police released.“It’s gone to a whole different level now," said Mike Collins, a retired Shelby County Sheriff lieutenant.The teens range in age from 15 to 17.All face multiple carjacking charges.Three of the teens also face several aggravated robbery and attempted first-degree murder charges.
