A motorcyclist identified as Josias da Silva Barbosa, died on Saturday night (10/5), after colliding with a truck on the Álvaro Maia Highway, in the Distrito Industrial I neighborhood.

The accident is believed to have occurred around 7pm and it is not yet known what caused the serious accident. Preliminary information says that the motorcyclist collided with the back of the truck and hit his head very hard on the ground, and due to the severity of his injuries, he died instantly.
