The NYPD responded to a stabbing at the Great Kills train station Friday afternoon that left a man injured.The incident was reported around 3:07 p.m, according to an NYPD spokesman.The victim was a 51-year-old male, according to police. He suffered a stab wound to the back and was taken to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze. The man was reported in stable condition.The violent incident is believed to have started over a dispute between the victim and another man aboard a 2:36 p.m. train from St. George to Tottenville, according to a MTA spokesperson. The argument spilled onto the platform, where is victim was stabbed.An MTA Police official told the Advance/SILive.com an investigation remains ongoing, but detailed that three alleged suspects have been taken into custody. No charges have been filed as of this time.
