PEKANBARU (CAKAPLAH) - Dimaris Isni Sitio was murdered. The perpetrator's actions against the 60-year-old grandmother were captured on closed-circuit television (CCTV) at the scene

The victim was found dead at his residence on Jalan Kurnia 2, Limbungan Baru Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City, Wednesday (29/4/2026).

In the circulating CCTV footage, it shows the moments when the perpetrators carried out their cruel actions against the victim.

Starting from the perpetrators coming in turns, chatting with the victim, committing violence and leaving the victim's house while stealing a number of valuables.

The 8-minute, 39-second footage shows two women arriving in a black car. After parking outside the gate, the two entered the victim's house through the garage.

Moments later, a man got out of the car and was seen surveying the area around the house. He was seen waving to someone outside the gate to come in.

Shortly after, another man entered the yard carrying what looked like a wrapped block of wood. He entered the house through the garage.

Hearing that there were visitors, the victim, wearing a blue housedress, came out of her room. She opened the side door to the garage and let two women in.

The woman, wearing a black shirt and yellow pants, immediately shook hands and kissed the victim's hand. At the same time, another woman followed her into the house.

The victim then sat on a chair in the living room, while the two visiting women remained standing. The victim was seen chatting amicably with the two women.

However, the situation changed drastically when a man launched an attack. The man struck the victim repeatedly in the head, leaving him paralyzed in a chair.

The attack continued even though the victim was unconscious. Meanwhile, two other women allegedly assisted by closing the door to prevent the attack from being seen from outside.

Realizing that his actions were recorded, the male perpetrator damaged the surveillance cameras in several places, including the living room, bedroom and kitchen, to cover his tracks.

Another second later, a man arrived on a motorcycle. After parking, he was seen pacing back and forth while smoking, then entered the victim's house.

Afterward, the man on the motorbike who arrived later was seen leaving the house, followed by a woman. The man, dressed in black, rode away on the motorbike while the woman got into the car.

Shortly after, the woman in black and the man who had hit the victim emerged, carrying a bag. The two got into a car and drove away.

Head of the Rumbai Police Criminal Research Unit, Iptu Dodi Vivino, said there were more than four perpetrators.

"There were around four perpetrators, but there could be more," said Dodi, Thursday (30/4/2026).

Dodi said that in addition to torturing the victim to death, the perpetrator also made off with several valuables. "Several items were missing, including jewelry, cash, and a cellphone," Dodi said.
