AURORA, Colo. – Aurora police on Monday released body camera video of a June 14 shooting that left a man dead during a family disturbance call.Police say officers responded to East Arkansas Drive after a husband and wife argued. The husband, identified as Todd Patrick Smith, was in the garage when officers arrived.Video shows Smith pick up a gun and hold it in one hand after telling the officer, "I'm done." The officer ordered him several times to drop it. When Smith swung the gun around in the direction of the officer, the officer fired twice, hitting him in the chest.Smith died the next day at the hospital. The shooting is under investigation.
