A motorcyclist died after colliding head-on with a vehicle that was in the opposite lane while making a turn. The incident occurred this Sunday (20) on the MG-217 in Poté, in the Mucuri Valley, in Minas Gerais.

The victim was identified as Ulisses Júnior, who was a resident of Ladainha. His death was confirmed at the scene.

A video circulating on social media shows the moment of the accident. In the images, it is possible to see that the motorcycle was speeding and that the car, a Honda City model, did not observe safety standards and made a dangerous turn.

The motorcycle was thrown 200 meters from the collision site and ended up in a pasture on the side of the highway. The rear of the car was completely damaged.

Two people were inside the vehicle. A man received medical attention in the city and a woman was taken by Samu to a hospital in Teófilo Otoni .
