A new case of hitmen shocked yesterday afternoon those passing by the El Indio mall, on Las Palmas Avenue, in the southeast of Medellín. A hitman, accompanied by two other subjects, shot repeatedly at a man who was inside a commercial premises.

General (r) Pablo Ferney Ruiz, operational undersecretary of the Medellín Security Secretariat, was at the scene and reported that the victim was waiting to meet another person inside a business.

“The victim was killed by several individuals who then fled on a motorcycle. The Judicial Police is collecting evidentiary material to establish the identity of the murderers and be able to find their prompt capture,” Ruiz added.

Personnel from the Police and the CTI of the Prosecutor's Office also went to the scene to carry out the survey and begin the investigation work to clarify the motives for this homicide.
