Just before 8AM on May 24, 2021 (a day ago), someone in a Nissan Altima crashed at high speeds on Madison Ave near East Garfield Park. The car clipped a pole, splitting it in half, where it then caught fire and spun around a few times. Afterwards, a few people came out to see what happened and to help out. One man, Jose, runs around the burning car in search for the driver. But, to his and other residents’ surprise, the driver was nowhere to be found. What was found on the scene however, was broken glass, a mother’s day card, and a bag full of weed. The driver is still on the loose, which is why there are currently “no known injuries”.
