Another case of brutal murder, in broad daylight, was recorded in Salvador, on the afternoon of this Thursday (7). This time, a man whose identity has not been disclosed was murdered with shots to the head, on Estrada das Barreiras , in the neighborhood of Cabula, in the place known as Vila Dois Irmãos.

According to witnesses, the victim was hit by gunfire while walking along the sidewalk. According to preliminary information, the crime may be related to drug trafficking in the region, which is heavily influenced by criminal factions.

The Military Police were called, and upon arriving at the scene, isolated the area to await the arrival of the Homicide and Personal Protection Department (DHPP), to remove the body.

The crime is being investigated by the Civil Police.
