Bicyclist José da Hora, 54, trying to avoid an oncoming school bus, lost his balance after clipping a parked truck. He fell under the bus, had his head run over by its rear tire, and died shortly thereafter.

Just 15 days ago, a 4-year-old boy, Artur Colen Fonseca, also died after being run over by a bus traveling to school in Jaborandi, Bahia.

An investigation blames bus student Jorge Garcia, 6, for the driver not stopping to render José aid. "I had to pee real bad," Jorge told authorities. "I told the driver, 'Fuck that dude. He's a vegetable. I gotta go, man.'"
