This afternoon on Santa Florentina Street in Cartagena, a man sprayed himself with a flammable liquid and set himself on fire in front of numerous people passing through the area and very close to the supermarket that almost faces San Fernando Street. The identity of the man is not known. The people present have managed to help the person with blankets and the emergency services have tried to revive him for about 30 minutes without being able to do so and certify the death while waiting for the arrival of the coroner and the removal of the body. The reasons that led this person to do this are unknown.
