Highway 101 in Redwood City was temporarily shut down Friday morning after a big rig tipped over the center divide.

At about 10:50 a.m., a big rig

traveling northbound on the freeway, just south of Woodside Avenue,

veered left and crashed into the center divide, tipping over, according

to Art Montiel of the California Highway Patrol.

It is unknown at this time why the

driver of the truck veered to the left, Montiel said. The driver was not

injured, and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played a factor.
