In Yekaterinburg, on Kraulya Street, the driver of passenger bus No. 49 suffered a stroke while the vehicle was in motion. Because his condition worsened he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and crashed into a pole. As a result of the accident seven passengers were injured, the city's traffic police reported. The accident occurred on the evening of January 10. According to the department, the driver himself and seven people who had been in the cabin were injured: women aged 74, 64, 54 and 44; young women aged 19 and 24; and an 18-year-old man. Doctors diagnosed the driver with a stroke and several head injuries. After examination he was released for outpatient treatment.
