- DeSoto County Sheriff’s deputies shared dash footage of a pursuit with a suspicious driver.Last Friday, deputies were responding to reports of a suspicious vehicle with bullet holes. The driver was identified as Connie Sue Northrop whose license has been revoked for 10 years due to DUI.After receiving reports of the the vehicle seen reckless driving on SR-31, deputies made a traffic stop. The deputies noticed several empty wine bottles inside the car and say Northup refused to comply. Dash cam footage shows her backing up into a patrol car and taking off from the scene. Deputies chased her into a pasture where she eventually crashed.Northrop was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges, including Fleeing to Elude, DUI, Aggravated Battery/Assault on LEO, Driving while License Revoked, Leaving Scene of Crash with Property Damage and Violation of Probation.
