my personal thought as an Indonesian regarding the new Military Law is that I 100% support because in liberal countries like Western Europe and the US, Canadian military personnel who are on reserve or hiatus (long term leave without benefit) are allowed to be elected as government officials or work in civilian jobs the example is the US vice president JD Vance, he is a former Navy Seal

our 5th constitution is social justice for all Indonesian people it meant that everybody can participate and can be elected as an government official or run for office in private sector
