On August 13, officers were called regarding a stolen property incident in the 1000 block of Fairway.

Officers say they spotted the suspect and tried to pull him over.

He eventually pulled over and ran off in the 5000 block of Crest Road.

There, investigators say Korey Unti, 36, pointed a gun at officers and was shot in return.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and the shooting remains under investigation.
