Residents of Patenggeng Village, Sindangsari Village, Paseh District were shocked by the discovery of a man who had died from hanging himself in the Public Cemetery (TPU) on Friday, December 6, 2024.

Bandung Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Kusworo Wibowo through Paseh Police Chief, First Inspector Ahmad Nurdin confirmed the incident. Where the victim with the initials BS (35) was first found by residents who were looking for grass.

"That's right, it was found at around 09.30 WIB," said Ahmad.

"At that time, residents or witnesses saw the victim was already lifeless hanging from a tree, right above the grave," he explained.

Ahmad added that seeing the incident, the witness immediately informed the WhatsApp group. Then, his party immediately went to the scene.

"When we arrived at the scene, the victim was already dead and wearing a sweater and shorts," he said.

"When we examined the victim, we found a will addressed to his family," he continued.

It is not yet known why the victim ended his life, at that time the victim's family refused to have an autopsy.
