On October 24, 2024, Atlanta Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at 2625 Piedmont Rd. NE. During the robbery, the suspect had held a gun on the victim and told them they would shoot them.

A suspect vehicle description was given to A.C.E. Unit officers, and they were able to quickly locate the vehicle and take the suspects into custody without incident. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 35-year-old Markese Jones. Mr. Jones was charged with Driving While License Suspended.

The passenger was identified as 35-year-old Abdulla Mack. Mr. Mack was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault , possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
