Reconnaissance drone operators spotted the movement of manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the railway tracks near Yakovlevka. The coordinates were transferred to the artillery crew of the Black Guard unit.

One of the surviving VSE soldiers tried to change position and hide from the arrivals, but did not have time: the Russian projectile turned out to be faster and more accurate.
