PORTLAND, Ore. — New information has been released on the officer-involved death of a Vancouver man last week, who police say pulled a gun on them while they tried to contact him about his aggressive biting dog.

The Vancouver Police Department distributed body camera video of the incident Friday.

On the afternoon of June 8 officers were sent to the 100 block of SE Columbia Way after callers reported a man had an aggressive German Shepard that was running loose and had bitten at least one person. Callers also described the man as carrying a gun.
