Peru. C.E.C.D. was 19 years old and definitely had a promising future. She was characterized by being very happy and with very good feelings. Last night she was walking along the avenue where she was intercepted by a pair of criminals who were traveling on a motorcycle and attacked her to steal her cell phone.

C.E.C.D, according to the Police version, resisted the robbery, and that is why one of the criminals did not hesitate and shot her in the head. Then they escaped. The murder occurred meters from the Migration and Public Registries headquarters. After the shooting, several neighbors tried to help the victim.

In a video recorded at the crime scene, C.E.C.D. is seen on the ground, fighting for her life. After several minutes, she was taken to a local clinic, where, unfortunately, the doctor on duty only confirmed her death. She became the 328th victim of the criminal wave that hits La Libertad.

Precisely, yesterday, minutes before this new murder, the members of the Regional Citizen Security Committee chaired by the regional governor of La Libertad, met to agree on new actions against the murders perpetrated in the region. Crime, in this way, mocks the authorities and agreements almost always fall on deaf ears.
