incident took place on Friday morning around 6:30 a.m. on a train at the TTC’s St. Clair West station.

“What are you doing?” the man doing the alleged choking asks the man in front of him.

The two men struggle before ending up on the floor of the train, with the man in the back managing to wrap his legs around the guy getting restrained.

While the train’s emergency alarm can be heard beeping in the background, no one tries to break up the fight or even approaches them.

“What the f*** are you doing?” the man continues to ask the other man, who puts his hand up and tells him to “relax.”

The man choking the passenger continues, “Don’t ever f***ing talk to me. Don’t ever come near me. I’ll body you right now.”

He adds, “You should’ve never come to me. You’re lucky.”

Service resumed five minutes later but the video, which lasted about 50 seconds, made it feel like an eternity.

The person who submitted the video said the train was actually stopped for about 15 minutes and both men were removed from the subway by TTC employees.

The partner of the man who was being subdued told blogTO that there were actually two men, the second was unseen on the video, who allegedly tried to rob her partner on his way to work. One of them attacked her partner.

“They attempted to take his backpack and portable speaker from the seat next to him, no one attempted to assist him as this took place except for activating the emergency alarm on the train,” they told the site.

“My partner sustained multiple blows to the face and now has a black eye and bruising on the whole right side of his face and body,” they detailed. “TTC security arrested both of the men that attacked him, we have not pressed charges.”
