The body of a man, not yet identified, was found decapitated and wrapped in plastic bags in a wooded area near the BR-174 highway in the western zone of Manaus.

The victim was wrapped in two black bags, covered with a tarp, and tied with electrical wires. The head was found besides the body.

Forensic experts determined that the victim had been dead for more than 30 hours and was already showing signs of decomposition. Additionally, there were indications that the body had been in a humid environment before being abandoned, based on the condition of the skin on the feet.

The man was wearing beige shorts and had a tattoo on his right forearm featuring a Guy Fawkes mask. Besides the decapitation, forensic analysis also identified signs of torture and injuries on the victim’s face.
