Wrestler Sakshi Mallick, Vinesh Phogat and other Indian Medallists were manhandled by Delhi Police during their march to the New Parliament on Sunday.Wrestler Sakshi Malik took to her Twitter and shared the view of how police officials were treating the Asian Games gold medallist, Vinesh Phogat.She tweeted, "This is how our champions are being treated. The world is watching us!"Delhi Police have detained all the protesting wrestlers, including Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik along with their supporters, and further removed the tents installed at the protest site at Jantar Mantar.Two contrasting views on today’s date - one where the Prime Minister has inaugurated the new Parliament and the other where the Indian Medallists were manhandled.While some users showed sympathy for the wrestlers, some users reacted negatively towards it.“You people are a disgrace to the nation. On this historic and auspicious day of the opening of #NewParliamentBuilding you people indulge in such NAUTANKI. You should not be allowed to represent the nation,” a user wrote.
