Man, identified only as Romualdo, is suspected of raping a girl l in the neighborhood of Nova Esperança 2, in the west zone of Manaus. He was brutally beaten and had his face disfigured by the neighbors.

The residents beat him with pieces of wood and stones. The man was left to agonize while sitting on a wall, but minutes later he died at the scene.
