In a controversial incident, a man who appeared to be complying with San Diego Trolley Security was tackled while waiting on the platform. Witnesses claim the man did not do anything to warrant such aggression. Just prior to this altercation, a security officer approached the man because he had passed out on the bench.

The man's therapy dog came at the officer ( in a curious playful manner) and he pulled his weapon. That is what led to the takedown by security. According to MTS, their officers don't even have tasers. Though the man claimed he was tased.
