Montgomery County police are asking for help identifying multiple people involved in a home invasion robbery in Rockville last Monday, according to the agency on Wednesday.

Around 1:25 a.m., officers were called to an apartment on Key West Avenue. Authorities said a man parked his vehicle in the parking garage of the apartment complex, and when he got out, he was approached by suspects who showed handguns. The suspects reportedly announced they were there to rob him, police said.

The suspects then stabbed and assaulted him before tying his hands behind his back with zip ties, according to detectives. He was then forced into the suspects' vehicle. He gave the suspects access to his apartment, where they took the safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry before leaving the area, police said.
