An audiovisual captured the moment in which a man was killed at close range in the La Caoba sector of the municipality of Jamao al Norte in the Espaillat province.

A nephew of the victim, identified as Luis Francisco de la Cruz , assured that the matador, Nino José Santana , shot his uncle after he asked for a ball (a ride). They were sharing with the aggressor's family.

«This man named Nino José Santana shot my uncle. They were sharing with the man's family. My uncle for just asking for a ride the man shot at close range and has to pay with jail. If anyone knows his whereabouts, please pass on the information to me, this man is practically a murderer because he cannot distribute bullets like that to a human being. This happened in La Caoba, Jamao al Norte ," said the victim's nephew.
