simply like hell the problem here in indonesia if you defend yourself

no matter from serrial killer or motorcycle gang thief attack you from behind or suprising attack you 1 vs 10 with weapons agains bare hand if you defend yourself and you lose the fight but not dead in location judge will only sentenced for phisical abuse & injuring others (if you not dead in location if you dead few hours latter in hospital) maximum 7 years in prison

some times it make non sense settle matter by law

like civil people illegal to own pistol

in reality at night motorcycle gang thief with machete haunt you and maximum 9 years /// 15 years if the victim dead

what i mean is sometime no value being good guy you either stay at home and stay safe you go outside you defend yourself (just be prepared or dont go outside at night alone)

idk what law maker think here in indonesia but in america roberies with murder should be 40 years or more in prison

because usually criminal do same crimes repetedly short sentence will only prevent them do crimes in short period 40 years in prison makes them old and weaker than average person makes them harder to dealt damage and think twice before commiting crime cus you old and weak
