Yohan Manuel Ventura, 44, took his own life by throwing himself in front of a garbage truck in Peracal, San Antonio, in the Táchira state of Venezuela.

The truck was en route to a landfill in Ureña when the tragic incident occurred.

Victim Suffered from Depression

According to family members, Ventura had been struggling with depression.

He worked as a motorcycle taxi driver for the Moto Frontera cooperative and lived in the Cristo Rey neighborhood of San Antonio.

Authorities Investigate

Officers from the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrived at the scene to secure the area and launch an investigation into the incident.
