A waiter stabbed three people this Sunday (28) in a restaurant in Camocim , in the interior of Ceará. One of them, councilor Cesar Araújo Veras (PSB) , 51 years old, died. The suspect was arrested, according to the state governor.

In the video, you can see the moment the councilor arrives at the restaurant. Then the waiter goes up to him and attacks him with a knife in the neck area. Afterwards, the employee goes to the owner of the establishment, who was at one of the tables, and stabs him. Ultimately, he injures a third man before fleeing the scene.

According to the Ceará Security Secretariat (SSPDS), the suspect tried to escape, but was arrested by teams from the Intensive and Ostensive Action Round Policing Command (CPRaio) in the Tijuca neighborhood, just outside the city of Camocim. The weapon used in the crime was seized.

After arrest, the man was taken to the Sobral Regional Police Station, a Civil Police unit on duty in the region, where he was charged with qualified homicide for futile reasons and with no chance of defense and two attempted qualified homicides.
