Merangin -Jambi residents were shocked by the discovery of the bodies of a married couple in their rented house in Sungai Ulak Village, Merangin. The couple with the initials SD (44) and IR (43) were found hanging.

The couple from West Sumatra had only lived in Merangin for a month. Near their bodies, a piece of will was found. It is suspected that the will was left before they ended their lives.

Head of Public Relations of the Merangin Police, Aiptu Ruly, said that the discovery of the two married couples occurred in Sungai Ulak Village, Merangin Regency, Jambi on Wednesday (11/12/2024) afternoon. In the circulating photo, the two of them were seen hanging themselves close together in the kitchen.
