The incident happened in Jamaica, 2018.

The male had been swimming when suddenly a shark attacked him, devouring his left arm including the ulna and the radius, exposing the humerus bone. Beach goers, alerted to his screams, scrambled to get help. Life guards managed to rescue the stricken male who was now unconscious back to shore, where they quickly put him on the back of a trailer to rush him to hospital. He died from blood loss and major trauma on the way.
