A motorcycle rider reacted to a robbery carried out by four criminals on Avenida Prestes Maia, in Diadema, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, and managed to retrieve his motorcycle without being injured. The case was recorded by drivers who saw the scene on the afternoon of Thursday (23).

In the images, the victim is approached by three assailants while one of them draws and points his weapon. The biker doesn't get out of the vehicle and seems to challenge the aggressors, but gives up soon after, and flees to hide behind a car.

Moments later, he goes back and tries to retrieve the vehicle while one of the criminals is riding the motorcycle. He attacks this assailant, while another, who has the gun, avoids shooting so as not to hit the partner.

The attempt to react goes wrong, the victim loses the proximity of the assailants and gets to be the target of a shot, which misses him. He runs away again, but takes advantage when two criminals leave the scene and leave the third alone, climbing onto the stolen motorcycle. At this point, the victim intimidates the thief, who runs off on foot.

The video also shows a police officer running and trying to capture the suspects. He even takes a ride with a motorcyclist to catch up with them. However, none of those involved were arrested. According to preliminary information, the victim was not injured. The 1st Police District, in Diadema, is responsible for the region.
