West Palm Beach, FL - Video of a police shooting in West Palm Beach where an officer found himself in the line of fire before returning fatal shots.

The video is from a street surveillance camera, and it shows a police officer with the West Palm Beach Police Department bringing down an armed robbery suspect last August, just weeks after the police shooting and rioting in Ferguson, Missouri.

The story begins with Officer Jason Barquin driving alongside 39-year-old Anthony Brown. Brown is wanted for questioning in a bike theft that happened moments earlier. Officer Barquin gets out of his car to stop Brown and the two get into a struggle.

Brown breaks free and takes off. Barquin chases Brown down and discharges his stun gun. Brown breaks free again, and as he runs away he pulls out a gun and takes a shot at the officer. Brown misses his target, giving Officer Barquin a chance to drop his stun gun, pull out his gun and return fire.
