At 3:07AM, on July 3, 2021, in Dnepr, Ukraine, a BMW collided with Toyota which later caught fire. Near the house number 44, a red Toyota was turning at an intersection. Meanwhile, people in a BMW were speeding down the roadway. The driver of the Toyota, a 30-year-old woman, miscalculated the speed in which the BMW was driving, and turned, getting into the BMW’s way. The BMW smashed into the Toyota. The Toyota was sent spinning while the BMW kept speeding until it crashed into a pole across the street and caught fire. Miraculously, several pedestrians, including a dog, were not caught in the Mayhem and were uninjured. Others were not so lucky. Accident crew tried to remove the woman safely out of her Toyota, but she died on the way to the hospital. In total, one woman driver of the Toyota died, while her male passenger survived with injuries. Also, 3 women and a 38-year-old male driver from the BMW were also injured and taken by ambulance to the Mechnikov hospital. The 3 women had fallen unconscious after the accident, and the male passenger of the Toyota is in a coma. Another injured person (I wonder who) escaped the hospital and did not return. The police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 286 (violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
