A man identified as Lourival, aged 55, was stabbed to death on the neck on Saturday morning in Jitaúna, Bahia, Brazil. Lourival was walking on the street when a young man called his attention. Lourival turned around, only for the man to stab him in the neck, killing him at the scene.

The killer was arrested by police shortly afterwards. According to police, he is a drug addict and suffers from mental health issues.
