Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse police have released the name of a man who was killed in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night on Syracuse’s South Side.

The man killed was Jakari Townsend, 26, of Syracuse.

The killing was a drive-by shooting, Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick told.
