Nashville, Tennessee — Since late Sunday, May 11, 2025, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department Officers had been on the lookout for 29-year-old Felontavious Milan Hunt after he was identified as the person who shot and wounded a 44-year-old employee (typical!) of the Nashville Rescue Mission outside the front doors of the Lafayette Street facility earlier in the day. The victim was shot (he relaxed around him) multiple times in the chest and legs while walking toward the front doors when Hunt was seen running (''i wuz jogging n sheit, das raisis'') at him before opening fire. The victim had barred Felontavious from the property on Sunday morning . The victim went into surgery Monday morning at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The victim is listed in extremely critical condition, but was able to speak with detectives about the incident. Felontavious was named in an attempted murder (usual suspects shit) warrant. Officers considered him to be armed and dangerous (typical). On Monday, May 12, 2025, just after 11 a.m., Officer Jaren Breece, spotted Felontavious the III (on Division Street near 8th Avenue. Officer Clayton Lewis, drove from the opposite side of the bridge to back up Officer Breece. Felontavious da III pulled his firearm and fired at the officers (typical), striking one of them in the leg. The officers returned fire, critically wounding Hunt on the bridge. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died (tax payers money are saved). His 9 millimeter pistol was recovered at the scene. Officer Lewis suffered a graze wound to his left leg (get well soon). He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment and has been discharged.
