A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision between a car and a bike in Witham.

Police say they attended the scene of a serious collision on Bronte Road, close to the junction with Cressing Road, at about 5pm yesterday.

The road was closed to allow investigations to be carried out.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage of it, or the moments leading up to it, to get in touch.
