Bronx man shot twice in the head during the day in front of two female NYPD officers Tayjon “Tay Tay” Johnson, 25, was shot just after 1:15 p.m. on June 27 in front of 1740 Lafayette Avenue in Soundview. First responders found him with two gunshot wounds to the head. He was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in grave, critical condition. NYPD has been looking for two men dressed in all black who fled on scooters. No suspects have been publicly identified. Motive remains unknown.
