In Morales, Bolívar Department, Colombia, a young woman, Karen, aged 21 was stabbed to death by her 35-year-old ex, Julian S.O.

According to authorities, Karen had been the victim of domestic abuse from Julian, and she refused to continue the relationship. Furious, Julian burst into her house and stabbed her around six times. Karen's sister attempted to stop him, but she was stabbed in the right arm in the process.

While Julian fled the scene, he voluntarily surrendered himself to the police a few days later.
